In our connected digital world, secure and reliable cryptography is the foundation of digital information security and data integrity. We address the world’s most pressing cryptographic questions. Our work covers post-quantum cryptography, lightweight cryptography, cloud encryption schemes, secure protocols, quantum cryptographic technologies and cryptanalysis.

Position: Circuit/ASIC Design Engineer

 

Job Description

 

 

  • designing and implementing cryptographic hardware architectures for ASICs
  • applying circuit design techniques and optimizations to improve the performance and security of our IP cores and circuits
  • participating in cutting edge security research in deep submicron technologies
  • creating prototype chips

 

 

Skills required for the job

 

 

  • BS/MS degree in electrical/electronic/computer engineering or 3+ years of relevant experience in the industry
  • Strong knowledge of RTL coding, logic design principles along with timing and power implications
  • Good understanding of a wide range of (synchronous/asynchronous) digital and analog circuit design techniques
  • Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art CAD tools for ASICs
  • Hands-on experience running Spice simulations
  • Hands-on experience in design and analysis of low-power circuits, e.g. power gating, decaps, multi-vt
  • Experience with advanced CMOS HW designs
  • Ability to work collaboratively and remotely with others

 

 

Will be considered a plus

 

 

  • PhD in hardware/cryptography engineering (or closely related field)
  • Good understanding of deep submicron process issues
  • Understanding of implementation attacks (e.g., side-channel analysis and fault injection) and the corresponding countermeasures
  • Practical experience with UVM and assertion-based formal verification
  • Proven experience (papers, patents) doing academic/industrial research
